The villa is brilliantly located on the ridge of the hill adjacent to the elegant 18th-century Georgian Great House.  Its stunning artisan double doors open onto the main hub of Tryall, a short stroll to several Club amenities including tennis courts, the large main swimming pool, a well-equipped fitness center, a front desk, a salon, a Kids Club, a games room,  boutique, and food-wine-liquor market. Three minutes by golf cart or complimentary shuttle are the championship Tryall Golf Course Pro Shop and stunning newly renovated private beach and pool lido area, as well as, a multitude of water sports and the Beach Grill & Piazza, serving Jamaican dishes, as well as burgers and salad, also a fabulous new Pizza oven (pizzas can also be delivered to your villa).
 
Bee Happy’s architecture is contemporary Colonial in style.  Its wide veranda extends the full 75’ length of the balcony and ends with the private plunge pool. Inside, the living area has deep-cushioned furnishings a SONOS sound system throughout, and a DVD system. A cheerful housekeeper, laundress, and breakfast chef, prepares a variety of Jamaican and international specialties from a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. We recommend that guests dine at the beach club for lunch. For an extra fee, the housekeeper will prepare and serve dinner or leave it ready on the stove if you wish to dine later.
It’s your choice to dine inside or out on the breezy balcony enjoying the enviable canvas of the deep blue sea and lush green countryside that fills the view.  The nighttime view from your veranda to the town of Montego Bay is a magic play of gently twinkling lights across the sea and occasional romantically lit cruise ships.  Simply beautiful.
 
Beach buffet parties are held twice each week for various fees. Off the property are four nearby restaurants you may wish to sample for yet another authentic Jamaican experience (The Lobster Trappe, Smoked Marlin, Skye Beach, and 15 minutes farther to excellent cuisine on The House Boat). 

 
Accommodations
Master Bedroom - North Wing
King-size bed, sitting area with chaise, and private terrace. En suite bathroom with double vanities, separate WC, and “Wet Room” with walk-in shower with jet body sprays and overhead, Soaking Tub. The outdoor shower is adjacent to the plunge pool.
 
Second Bedroom - South Wing
King/twin bed with a sitting area with chaise and terrace opening onto the plunge pool. En suite bathroom with double vanities, walk-in shower with jet body sprays, and overheard.
 

The Tryall Club Membership 

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club.  On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world.  It's 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda, and other PGA championship events.  The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons.   The Tryall tennis club features 4 Agile Turf courts and 5 Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pros on call.  All white attire is required. 

The beach is well-planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar.  Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it).  Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie Cat, and sunfish are complimentary.  Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef, and any captained craft attract various fees.  Enjoy weekly events like a complimentary Manager’s Cocktail Party on Mondays, as well as Beach BBQ and Reggae Night beach parties for an additional fee.

*Tryall Club Temporary Membership Dues

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf.  Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

The Tryall Club requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership Dues cost of US$170 (plus a 15% service charge) per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$34 (plus a 15% service charge) per day per person for stays of less than 7 days. Children between the ages of 13 and 15 are at a discounted rate of 50% plus a 15% service charge. For children 12 years and younger, the Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary.  

Plan to pay your TMD fee at the Front Desk in the Great House when you register (see below).

Please note: There may be occasions when some or all the facilities for the hotel may be closed for membership guest services due to a private hotel event. The Tryall Club reserves the right to change or alter its membership packages with no advance notice.

REGISTRATION

When your driver brings you to Tryall, you will check in at the front desk.  You will be asked for your passport as a means of identification.  You will sign a waiver & need to provide a driving license for the use of the complimentary golf carts provided at the villa as well as any additional golf carts you may wish to rent.

The Tryall Club can set up an account for your stay.  A credit card is required at check-in and a credit hold will be placed until check-out for budgetary items & signing privileges (i.e., groceries, restaurant dining, golf, and activities).  The calculated amount for the credit hold is approximately US$150 per bedroom per night.  If you plan to make payment for your Folio Account in cash, they will request a cash deposit.  If you plan to make payment by credit card, they will place a hold on your credit card. 

The Tryall Club will charge your credit card or take a cash payment for the Temporary Membership Dues of US$170 (plus a 15% service charge) per person per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$34 (plus 15% service charge) per person per day for stays of less than 7 days; a discount of 50% (plus the 15% service charge) applies to children who are ages 13-15 years old.  Children 12 years and younger are complimentary.  

Golf Cart Waiver & Indemnification

If you would like to use the golf carts supplied by the villa, you will be asked to sign a golf cart damage waiver form on arrival.

You agree to always operate the golf cart safely and courteously at The Tryall Club. You agree to be responsible for any or all damages and replacement costs if you use the golf cart during your stay.  You also agree to the following rules:

  • Golf Cart Operator must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing, or other misuse of the golf cart will not be tolerated.  Golf Carts must remain within the gates of the resort and are not permitted outside the gates.
  • Passengers must always be seated when the cart is in motion. Feet/legs, arms, and the entire body must remain inside the cart.
  • Report any malfunctions or cart problems to management immediately.

Staff

Your staff will include a housekeeper, laundress, and breakfast cook. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The housekeeper will shop and prepare your breakfast daily, do your laundry & keep Bee Happy spotlessly clean.

For other meals, we recommend exploring the restaurants at Tryall, one of their special theme nights, or venturing into Montego Bay to try the restaurants there. For special requests, the housekeeper can prepare simple meals and leave them for you to serve at your convenience. Please note that an extra charge of $30 per meal applies for this personalized service, and additional gratuities for extra meals are at your discretion.

Gratuity Guideline

Guests are asked to tip US$20 per bedroom per day.
